Dear Club Members,
Following the previous communication about the AGM, we will now be holding the meeting on Thursday 17th December at 7.30pm.
Below are the meeting agenda, minutes of last year’s meeting, the 2020 captains’ reports, and a brief statement from the nominees for Club Captain about why they would like to take up the role.
Please note that due to the current COVID restrictions we are limited to a very small number able to attend the meeting. All members are invited to join the meeting via Microsoft Teams using the below link.
If you would like to attend in person, please contact Geoff Dryden in advance to check there is sufficient space available.
You will see from the Agenda that the club is looking for a new Welfare Officer.
This role primarily oversees the club’s systems and processes that ensure that our young cricketers can play safely. There is nothing more important to the club.
As you would expect this is a key role for us and the position is mandatory for a club of our size and standing. The good news is Karen Dacey our previous WO has done a fantastic job over the last 5 years setting up our systems and processes so that we are second to none in the way we look after our children.
We now need one of you to keep this going, but we are happy to say that most of the hard work has already been done by Karen.
The further good news is that you will receive full training and Karen will help you during the hand over. This role may particularly appeal to anyone looking at developing a career in the field of child welfare and is a great thing to add to your CV.
If you would like a chat about the role just get in touch with St.John Farley.
We hope to see as many of you as possible at the on-line meeting on Thursday.
